A replacement 11 holes American Standard Fender Stratocaster pickguard 72s that contains a low impedance air coil built inside of the pickguard. The PGNCS S is connected to 1, 2 or 3 strat style single coil pickups to remove the hum while preserving the true single coil pickup tone.

DESIGN:

The Fender Stratocaster PGNCS S is based on the original Strat pickguard shape and mounting holes location on the guitar. Inside of the pickguard we build a low impedance air coil which is the most transparent device for hum canceling system. A small adjusting PCB is provided for the PGNCS S easy installation and fine tinning of the PGNCS S hum canceling . LEFTY Strat PGNCS S will require a different PGNCS S model. Please contact us to discuss it first and then you place your custom PGNCS S order with us

STRENGTH SELECTING  

1. Base your selection on your pickups brand, model specifications, type of alnico rod magnets used and DC resistance in KΩ.
2. You can also measure the DC resistance of the pickups yourself (using a digital multimeter at 20 KΩ range or automatic) in the following way:
= Plug in a standard guitar cable into the guitar output jack
= Put Volume Tone pots at their Max position
= Go to position 1 – Bridge pickup only
= Measure the DC resistance between Sleeve and Tip at the other side of the guitar cable jack
= Do the same for the other pickups and record your readings
You can then select the correct PGNCS S strength
VNT – Strength 8 – for Alnico polepiece pickups 5-6.5 KΩ resistance
STD – Strength 10 – for Alnico polepiece pickups 6-8 KΩ resistance
POW – Strength 15 – for Alnico polepiece pickups 9-13 KΩ resistance/Steel screw poles pickups (NOT P90!) 7-9 KΩ resistance

SOUND:


Audio MP3 files recorded with a close located Audix mic, AC 30 – all tube amplifier and Fender Stratocaster guitar equipped with three Strat style single coil pickups. Pickup recorded – Bridge only
