ILITCH BPNCS for Fender Stratocaster guitar
Enjoy your play and tone without the hum

DESIGN:

The BPNCS for Fender Stratocaster is based on the original Strat backplate shape, keeping the same location of the six mounting holes. We have designed a low impedance air coil built into the backplate to create this transparent hum canceling device. A small adjusting PCB is provided for easy installation and fine tuning. LEFT handed Strat or SRV Strat will require a custom BPNCS model. Please contact us to discuss it first before placing your order with us. The outside dimensions of the BPNCS are slightly larger (about 3/8″ / 10mm in each direction) than the original. You can check the BPNCS Fender Stratocaster geometry by printing the PDF in 100% scale, cut outline, punch holes and check the match

BPNCS OTC – open tremolo cut window

STRENGTH SELECTING:
1. Base your selection on your pickups brand and model spec the alnico rod magnets type and the DC resistance in KΩ.
2. You can measure the DC resistance of the pickups (using a digital multimeter at 20 KΩ range or automatic) in the following way:
= Plug in a normal guitar cable into the guitar output jack
= Put Volume Tone pots at their Max position
= Go to position 1 – Bridge pickup only
= Measure the DC resistance between Sleeve and Tip at the other side of the guitar cable jack
= Do same for the other pickups and write down the readings
Then you select the BPNCS STRENGTH you need
VNT – Strength 8 – for Alnico polepiece pickups 5-6.5 KΩ resistance
STD – Strength 10 – for Alnico polepiece pickups 6-8 KΩ resistance
POW – Strength 15 – for Alnico polepiece pickups 9-13 KΩ resistance/Steel screw poles pickups (NOT P90!) 7-9 KΩ resistance
HOT – Strength 20 – for Steel screw poles pickups P90 7-9 KΩ resistance

SOUND:

Audio MP3 files recorded with a close located Audix mic, AC 30 – all tube amplifier and Fender Stratocaster guitar equipped with three Strat style single coil pickups. Pickup recorded – Bridge only

    I have a vintage style Stratocastor with Lindy Fralin Vintage Hots. I love this guitar and the pickups but have been unable to use it in a live setting because we use in ear monitors and the 60 cycle hum drives everyone crazy. So I ordered the BPNCS for Vintage pickups on a Monday and I was shocked to see them in my mailbox just 2 days later. Crazy fast shipping in my case. I have installed the system with the easy to follow wiring diagram and instructions and am happy to say that it is exactly as advertised! No loss in the amazing tone…just no more hum!! I plan to buy another one very soon for my other Stratocastor. I would surely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a way to remove the 60 cycle hum but retain your guitars tone. Absolutely amazing system!

    This was the first thing I did to my American Professional Strat. Mandatory modification. I gig at venues all over my County, with the worse lighting and interferences. This makes my 60 cycle hum go away like night/day. It’s absolutely breathtaking. Tone still sounds the same as before, just no hum. Passive circuit, does not Influence or affect tone of pickups or guitar in any kind of way. No need for 9v batteries, no need for future adjustments. Mr Ilitch is theee Man. He will install your silent circuit of choice in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. Amazing hospitality and friendliness. It was an honor to have my guitar worked on by such talent.
